Jennie, Magda and Rebekah after the age group crit

In the women’s age group crit, a break with Heidi, Jeannine and Debbie looked extremely promising. Unfortunately, two of them crashed within the last 5 laps, and in the field sprint both Magda and Rebekah took second in their age groups, with big help from Jennie. This was Jennie’s first race this year: ” I loved the crit! First race back of the season and I felt great! Amazing and inspiring so see so many strong women of all levels!”

Jen: “The separate cat 4 crit was nice and led to a slower, more controlled field that stayed together instead of the 4s getting shelled right from the start. Maria and me actually got to race!”

Secret tactic plans between Rebekah and Magda in the cat 1/2 crit?!

In the cat 1/2 crit in the afternoon, Jeanine attacked off the gun and stayed away. Rebekah and Magda worked in the field, but without help from other racers.
